THE WORLD OF SUMO
Feel the power.
Enter the world of sumo.
The sound of the ring. The intensity of each bout. Step beyond the spectator’s seat, into sumo itself.
INSIDE THE STABLE
Where the wrestlers
live and train.
A sumo stable is a home as much as a training ground. Wrestlers wake before dawn, train on the clay ring and eat chanko together. You are welcomed into their daily world.
Beside you, a guide explains the rituals as they happen. Understand the meaning behind each movement, and see the sport in a new light.

A MORNING LIKE NO OTHER
Close to the ring. Closer to the tradition.
Morning practice begins at 8:45, just a few steps from the ring. The three-hour plan includes the wrestlers’ own chanko hot pot, enjoyed in the stable.
